The HighPoint HPTBBU-05 is an optional battery backup unitdesigned for use with RocketRAID 4500 Series 6Gb/s SAS/SATAROC HBAs. HPTBBU-05 provides additional data security in eventof a critical system failure. With the HPTBBU-05 installed, theRocketRAID 4500 Series ROC HBA will automatically maintain thecontents of onboard cache memory after power loss, andpreserve this data for up to 72 hours.
