ISO drive emulation is an ideal solution for computers that do not have optical drives (i.e Ultrabooks, Netbooks). Using hardware based ISO emulation, the S2510BU3ISO USB 3.0 HDD Virtual ISO Enclosure allows you to easily create and mount up to 3 different virtual Blu-ray/DVD/CD ROM images, ensuring maximum performance while eliminating the hassle and expense of complicated virtual ISO software.

This enclosure lets you turn almost any 2.5-inch SATA hard drive (HDD) or solid state drive (SSD) into an external virtual ROM drive through a USB port (optimal performance with USB 3.0, backward compatible with USB 2.0).

The enclosure supports large capacity hard drives (tested with up to 1TB), and also doubles as a standard external hard drive enclosure that can be used to maximize system storage expansion and backup capabilities.
